Los Angeles Fashion Week 2017
During my childhood, I was always a flower girl. My closet was full of jeans pants, white T-shirts and tank tops. I even used to walk around with flowers in my hair.
For me, fashion was something distant, something that interest my mother and was written about in magazines. I didn’t really care about fashion those days.
The years had passed, and I changed. My priorities, desires, my point of view and my perspective about life had all changed.
During the years my business got bigger, I gained more experience and I got stronger. Even my location chanced.
With all those changes, I found myself enjoying learning about fashion. I got inspired from the fashion world and the cultures I’ve been exposed to.

The flower girl in the big city
About a year ago I arrived in Los Angeles.
A new place which I visited only once before (I visited LA with my parents for my Bat Mitzvah).
I arrived at the city with my husband, Yoav. Nothing was waiting for either one of us. We didn’t know what to expect, but we were full of dreams, and we wanted to grow and to create.
Today, after a wonderful year here in Los Angeles, in parallel to my business in the field of branding and marketing on Instagram and other medias, I’m also working as the digital director of the LA fashion week. And I’m enjoying every minute of it!
The fashion week’s Influencers event
A few months ago, I had the privilege to produce my first event at the Los Angeles Fashion Week 2017. It was the “influencers event” of Los Angeles Fashion Week, which I produced and hosted. I invited about 150 people who are big on social medias and influence their followers (some of them have hundreds of thousands and even millions of followers). I also invited our sponsors who set up spots for doing hair, makeup, beauty, drinks and delicious snacks.
The influential industry in the US is crazy. People with millions of followers have a personal manager, a private photographer, hairdressers and make-up artists with them wherever they go. Of course, there are different types of “influencers”, to some of them I relate less, while there are a lot of influencers who are people with a fascinating and creative content world. Such as musicians, actors, and talented people who produce unique and fascinating content. without the social media they may never have been seen or heard.
In the past year, since I joined the fashion week, I worked with my team on the influencers activities, collaborations and the ongoing digital programs.

The Fashion Week Events
The Los Angeles Fashion Week 2017 Events lasted five days. During those days, top designers such as Noe Bernacelli, Issue Thailand, Radka and many others had performed on an amazing stage in a magnificent hall decorated with flowers and red carpets.
Before the fashion week began, we were busy building the infrastructure and the event took place in the stunning Alexandria Hotel in the south of the city.
During the fashion week itself, I had several teams of volunteers at the same working with my team from the office. We divided the work among us, according to the staff’s locations during the event. Everyday I was surprised from the high level of the designs, and from the superb ideas of each display. It was fascinating.
I have been invited to the fashion week as a guest for many years. But this year was different, because I was the host. It was an amazing and fulfilling experience for me, which I enjoyed so much. To many more 🙂
